FAQ
Is it safe? Climbing at Climb
Time Indy is very safe environment. The equipment is checked
weekly and the staff ensures that everyone knows what they
are doing before turning them lose in the gym.
What ages can climb? Basically,
if you can walk you can climb. We have no age restrictions
up or down. We have seen 70 year old men climb the walls
as well as 3 year old girls.
What is a boulder pass? Bouldering
means you are climbing without a rope. You can do this anywhere
in the gym up tp a certain height.
Does a day pass mean you can come and
go all day?Yes, you can come climb, go get something
to eat and then come back if you like for no extra charge.
Do we have to use your shoes?
If you don't have your own climbing shoes you do. This is
to ensure that the walls and holds are properly maintained.
How often do you change the holds?
We work to rotate everything in the gym every 6-12 weeks.
We are constantly taking down the holds, washing them, and
putting up new ones in their place. If you have been to
Climb Time in the last two weeks, you can be sure that there
will be something different the next time you come in.
Can we bring our own food or drinks?
You sure can. We have no restrictions on outside food and
drinks (except alcohol, you can't bring that unless it is
an after hours private party prearranged with the owners)
Do you have to have a membership?
No, Climb Time Indy is open to all.
Do you do lock-ins? Yes we
do. You will need a minimum of 15 people. You can climb
all night, watch videos, sleep, whatever you want to do,
the place is yours for the night.

You do not need a reservation unless you plan on bringing
10 or more and want to get the group rate ($15 includes
pass, shoes, harness) or if you plan to bring in food, cake,
drinks for a party and need to reserve the balcony ($20
for two hours).
How old do you need to hold the ropes? You will need to be 14 years old or older to belay (hold the ropes). (Age exceptions can be made for those certified, through a Climb Time Indy top rope certification class. You must contact the gym via e-mail for more information on this option.)
